Meet Kevin, also known as Kassy, a truly fascinating and captivating individual. Kassy’s journey has been far from easy. Growing up, she struggled with self-love and faced limitations imposed by her physical attributes. Despite these challenges, her graceful transition has transformed her approach to life, endowing her with a captivating demeanor that has won her many admirers.
Born and raised in Butuan, Kassy is one of eleven children and often regarded as “the favorite child.” This made embracing her true self a difficult task, as she feared disappointing and hurting her family. From a young age, Kassy was enchanted by the world of makeup artistry, inspired by watching her mother apply makeup. This passion blossomed into a career in makeup and hairdressing.
Her journey began when she volunteered to coach a local beauty pageant contestant who lacked a glam team. Kassy views makeup as a powerful form of expression, aiming to empower everyone, regardless of gender or identity, to feel free and confident.
In 2010, Kassy relocated to a small village in Germany, accessible only by bus. Despite facing language barriers and culture shock, she persevered. “If you are working on something you really care about, you don’t have to push so hard.
Destiny pulls you in the right direction; you just have to enjoy the ride,” she says. Kassy credits her strength to her best friend, Shon, whom she considers her backbone in Germany. Beyond her makeup skills, Kassy enjoys painting and recently earned the title of 2nd runner-up in the Miss Queen Universe 2023 Trans Pageant.
